In 1992, I was named media coordinator for the Mike Tyson Rape Trial. While doing this, I wrote a column for USA Today analyzing the trial based on my observations as a former criminal defense attorney. Believing that Tyson did not receive a fair trial due to incompetent defense, I wrote my first book, Down For The Count, The Shocking Truth Behind The Mike Tyson Trial. This book was a fair success, and led to second, and a third, and now nearly nineteen in all. Most have been biographies with a slant toward the historical importance of people or events.  The most recent is a biography of famed attorney Melvin Belli,: King of the Courtroom, with a new one in the works about the gifted spiritual guru and inspirational writer, Thomas Merton.

Other books include The Perfect Yankee, Nicklaus, Bury Me In A Pot Bunker, Miscarriage of Justice, Forever Flying, Let the Good Times Roll, Clydesdales, Testament to Courage, Diamonds in the Rough, and five books about the writing and publishing process, Book Report, Grammar Report, Poetry Report, Self-Publishing Report, and Writer’s Report. These five have been condensed into one: “How to Become a Published Author: A to Z.” You may download it or print it our for free using the designated pages on the home page.
